Dixie Bones History

Dixie Bones opened in Woodbridge, VA on January 2, 1996.  The next day, a record breaking snow storm closed us down.  We reopened two days later & have been serving traditional Southern barbeque, sides, desserts, & brewed sweet iced tea ever since.  Our dine-in, takeout & catering continue to be the way the DMV does BBQ.

What makes Dixie Bones authentic? It’s the people who cook our food, serve our guests, and keep our place clean. You can see four of the founders still working together.
